What ingredients did you use to replace the sugar?
We use Maltitol, which is considered a carbohydrate (more specifically its chemical name is a “sugar alcohol” /polyols). Sugar alcohols /Polyols are naturally found in fruits and vegetables. Maltitol has similar properties to sugar, but it has less sweet taste and less calories. Maltitol is approved by food authorities and has been used for many years.
